Uses Selective Colouring
9 steps, but some are optional.
1. Duplicate your base, set to softlight 50%
2. New Adjustment Layer, Hue/Saturation
Set only the Master Saturation to +30
3. New Adjustment Layer, Brightness/Contrast
Contrast = +16
4. New Adjustment Layer, Selective Colour,
Reds = -100 -25 -37 +34
Yellows = -81 -30 +25 -47
Neutrals = +100 +14 -30 +11
5. New Adjustment Layer, Selective Colour,
Reds = -100 -7 -14 +19
Neutrals = +56 -30 -17
You can stop there or keep on going.
6. Select all of your layers, and copy merged. Select the persons face using the Eliptical Marquee Tool, and then
invese.
7. Go to Image >> Adjustment >> Gradient Map. Select the Black and White from the drop down.
8. Add a dashed circle brush - Made by me - around the black around image.
9. add text/brushes etc.
Flatten and you're done!
